In light of the Thanksgiving season, I just wanted to note a few of the things I'm thankful for, like living in a time where indoor plumbing and refrigerators are common place. What if we'd been born around the time of the pilgrims?
Imagine scampering outside to use the outhouse in the middle of the night (which two hundred years ago, wasn't equipped with toilet paper). What would it be like without planes or cars, when your idea of a road trip was a ten mile horse and buggy ride down the road?
And yet, we have many of the same things to be grateful for, which the Pilgrims enjoyed. We have loved ones to share our table, ample food for the holiday season and the opportunity to be grateful for the little things would should try to enjoy a little more. Have a great holiday season everyone!
